Lafayette College

Lafayette College is a private college coeducational, liberal arts and engineering directed, which is located in the Lehigh Valley, approximately 100 Miles of Philadelphia and New York City, USA. The University was founded in 1826. According to the history of the establishment, the university was named after the French General Marquis de Lafayette who served in the American Revolution under George Washington. And according historically, this university affiliated with the Presbyterian Church.

Students and prospective students at this university can choose academic programs that have been offered by the university, including the Bachelor of Arts degrees in 37 fields and Bachelor of Science degrees in 14 fields. Although this university has provided various studies majors, however, popular courses at this university include biology majors, English and engineering. According to data reported by the university, the college's endowment-per-student total is in the top 10% in the nation.

Not only providing and organizing academic activities, the university also provides a wide range of organizations and sororities. There are four fraternities, sororities six and nearly 20 academic honor societies at the university campus. In addition, one of the organizations in this university, namely the Lafayette Engineers Without Borders club, is a member of the national organization of the same name, which connects students to rural Hondurans.

From the field of sports, the university has a sports team known as the Lafayette Leopards. The sports teams participate in the NCAA Division I athletics to compete with sports teams from other universities. One of the university's sports teams, the football team, has a long-standing rival football teams from neighbor universities, the Lehigh University. And on the 150th match, which took place in the fall of 2014 yesterday, it becomes a very interesting game and has to suck a lot of spectators to witness the match at Yankee Stadium, the venue for the match.
