Centre College is a private liberal arts college located in Danville, KY, USA. The University was founded in 1819 by Presbyterian leaders. The university academic system offers double majors, namely self-designed majors and dual degree engineering programs with Columbia University, the University of Kentucky, Vanderbilt University and Washington University of St. Louis. In 2012, the university campus had the privilege, for being the host venue for the second vice presidential debate.

In addition to getting an education at a university campus, a student at the university also have the opportunity to study abroad. According to a report from the university, as many as 85% of students at the university participated in the study abroad program. And to meet the needs of its student residence abroad, the university also has provided residential campuses located in France, Mexico and England, and a few other places.

To support the studies of students, the university is also always do research. Where in these studies, more than one third of all students collaborate with professors in advanced research. Many activities in the university which can be followed by the students. For example, on an annual campus-wide event, Centre RICE Symposium (Research, Internships and Creative Endeavors), where students are invited to present their recent academic work.

In addition, members of the university, particularly the art lovers of music, can watch a spectacular show organized by the Norton Center for the Arts. Where on the show, the organizers always deliver world class players, such as soul singer Al Green, violinist Joshua Bell and the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Gustavo Dudamel.

And one of the very well-known activities of the university is a university tradition, known as the Honor Walk. Where in the tradition of students receive a talent - a coin with the historic building "Old Centre" on one side and the college seal on the other - at the beginning of reviews their senior year, and then give it to someone who has profoundly impacted reviews their college career on the evening before commencement after they walk through the Old Centre.

The university also has sports teams, known as the Colonels, who participated in the NCAA Division III athletics. There is a story that comes from one of the university sports teams, the football team. Where in 1921, when the university football team to compete with Harvard team, and won the game by a score of 6-0, is considered one of the greatest college football upsets of the 20th century.
