Washington College is the first college founded in the United States, precisely in the year 1782. In this superpower, Washington College is one of the oldest institutions of higher education which ranks 10th. This private liberal arts university located in Chestertown, MD.

To meet the educational needs of students going through the school, the university has provided 40 majors and 24 minors. Due to this university has been popular in the world community, it is not surprising that students who are studying at this university came from various countries around the world. According to the university, carrying the students come from 35 states and 40 different countries.

And to commemorate the first president of this university, every year Washington College celebrated a Birthday Ball. The celebration is one of the traditions or activities that have become part of the university.

As well as the quality in education, the university is also famous for the natural beauty of its campus. Because, this campus location adjacent to the beautiful beaches with access to the Chester River. Where both places are an important part of the university and also as one of the best places to enjoy the beauty of nature. There are two locations on campus that can be used as tourist attractions, namely the Truslow Boat House and Lelia Hynson Pavilion. So, after feeling saturated with academic routine on campus, students can be refreshing in such a beautiful place.

In the non-academic, the university also provides various facilities as a place for hobbies and talents of students in the field of sports. So that, with the facilities available, the student is able to perform. Because of this university sports teams, with 17 athletic teams participate in the NCAA Division III athletics.
