Hastings College

Hastings College is a liberal arts college founded in 1882 by early settlers Nebraskan with the support of the Presbyterian Church. Currently, Christian college is in a relationship with the church through optional weekly Chapel services and a requirement of at least one religion course to graduate.

Through academic departments, Hastings College provide options to the students to choose from 64 majors in 32 areas of study and 12 pre-professional programs. In addition, the university also offers personalized programs for students who wish to create Reviews their own courses of study.

As with any college that has a tradition or an annual event, Hastings College also has several annual events, one of which is the Boar's Head Dinner, a formal meal served by the college that begins as a student walks through the dining hall with an actual boar's head on a platter.

In memory of one of its members, the Bobby Gottsch Jr. Memorial College Rodeo was named Rodeo of the Year by the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association in 2013 ago.Of non-academic activities, especially athletics, students can join in 22 varsity sports teams to develop their talents and interests in sports. Hastings College sports teams, which is famous for its mascot, dubbed the Bronco, compete with sports teams from other universities to be the best in the NCAA Division II level competition.

One former member of the university that has been accomplished in the field of sport is Bill Parcells, NFL coaches are very popular, start early in his career as a linebackers coach at Hastings College.
